Footnote
Q4 carried over almost the same project list as Q3 (weather app, todo app, TinyDesk, Holiday card) with only one new concept added — CSS Grid and subgrid. A few things to consider going into Q1-26:
- Scope the project list. Three quarters in a row with the same unchecked projects suggests the scope isn't matching available time. Pick one project per quarter to actually ship rather than listing the same four.
- TinyDesk (api + frontend + db) is the most ambitious item and keeps getting deferred. If it's a priority, break it into a dedicated note with milestones. If it's not, drop it from the quarterly list until you're ready.
- CSS Grid + subgrid is a quick win — it's well-documented and very applicable to layout work. A good candidate to close out first in Q1-26.
- The blog post goal ("2-3 technical posts") also carried over from Q2 through Q4 without completion. Consider committing to just one post in Q1-26 instead.
